OneDrive is an online storage service provided by Microsoft. Just a couple of months ago, users had 15GB free storage, but due to recent 'updates' new and existing users have been cut to just 5GB free storage. You can get the 15GB back though, if you get 20 people (or just 20 new accounts) to sign up to OneDrive using a special link. Find a guide here on cnet. A few weeks ago, I found out an overlooked feature of the folder sharing option. Basically when someone shares a folder with you, that folder is placed into you OneDrive and treated the same as any other folders in your account. Find out how to turn this into unlimited storage below.
How to get unlimited storage
1. First of all, create a new Microsoft account and go to OneDrive
2. Create a new folder (name doesn't matter)
3. Share that folder and get a link
4. Sign into your main OneDrive account and navigate to the link you generated in the previous step. Click 'Add to my OneDrive' and then 'Add Folder'
You've successfully added an extra 5GB to your OneDrive. All files placed in the folder you've made will not get taken away from your account, but from the other account you've made. Repeat this process a few times and you can easily get an extra 15GB OneDrive storage.
TIP: Generate a referral link and sign up using that link you've made, this gives you an extra 0.5GB on your main account as well as 0.5GB on the extra account you've made (1GB total).
